At Vision City Church, we believe the Church is called to reflect the heart of God — especially when it comes to caring for vulnerable children and families in crisis. Our Foster Care Ministry is here to serve, support, and stand in the gap with the love of Jesus.
❤️ Our Purpose
At Vision City Church - Foster Care Ministry, we are called to reflect the heart of Jesus by serving the most vulnerable among us—especially children and families impacted by the foster care system. Our purpose is to create a culture of compassion, action, and connection where every child feels seen, valued, and loved.
We believe the Church should be the first to respond when a child is in crisis or a family is in need. Through our partnership with CarePortal and local agencies, we meet practical needs—like clothing, beds, school supplies, and meals—while building lasting, Christ-centered relationships.
This ministry is about more than meeting needs—it’s about restoring dignity, speaking life, and pointing families to the hope we have in Christ. We exist to be a light in the darkness, to step in where others may step back, and to show every child that they are never forgotten.

CarePortal
We connect people who can help with people who need help. Right now, in real-time.
Care Portal
What Is CarePortal?
CarePortal is a powerful online platform that connects local churches—like ours—with real-time needs in the community, especially for vulnerable children and families. Social workers, foster agencies, and nonprofits submit requests for help (like beds, clothing, groceries, or transportation), and our church family can respond with love and support.
Whether it’s providing a crib for a baby entering foster care or helping a struggling single parent, CarePortal allows you to make a direct and meaningful impact—right where you live.
📍 See Local Needs:
Once you sign up, you’ll receive notifications about specific needs in our area. You can choose to respond to whatever fits your heart and resources.
